What is the best way to wire an iPod to a car to read through my stereo?

I use an FM transmitter now, not tolerate interference and lack of power. My car is a 2004 Jeep. I have seen many different ways to do this, I wonder anyone had any advice. Thank you!

I put a Kenwood Car Stereo in my car and bought the KCA-iP500 adapter for it. I control my iPod stereo and charge iPod simultaneously. Not sure if can make a jeep, depends largely on whether or not the sound equipment is built into the console. Jump to www.crutchfield.com...great store, I recommend it. Give em a call give you all the options that are realistic unless you want to go nuts and splice a connection to the car radio, and I've seen, but is certainly on the side advanced skill level
