Are there rules Re: The father drove the car but I am not the policyholder?
My father lets me occasionally use your vehicle for a few days. I'm not the primary insured, but I'm in politics. I have a parking lot. Does anyone know if there is a problem with that?
The insurance covers a driver if the policy is written with a "1" to "pilot." The fact that you are enrolled in the policy means that his father has "1" but it has declared a licensed driver. You can not let a friend drive the car. That said - you are covered to drive the vehicle and may "garage" vehicle anywhere, including the Street temporarily. If you ever take the vehicle as their primary vehicle, you must notify the company insurance by a major driver change and the location of the main garage.
